EVA Airways is a proud sponsor of our Volunteer Race Team! 
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Long Beach International City Bank Marathon!
Long Beach has a great tradition of enthusiastic volunteers known as the "Race Team." We are looking for individuals, clubs and associations to help be a part of this 2,000 plus-person team.
- All volunteers will receive a Race Team t-shirt and goodie bag and will be treated to a post-race party hosted by ICR.
- You can be an important part of this year's marathon. To become a member of the Race Team, you can now register online here.

- Teams of volunteers are always welcome. To register a group as a team, click here.
- No matter where our volunteers are on the racecourse, all are encouraged and invited to attend the Finish Line Festival on the Marina Green.

Volunteer Awards
- The Tom Hennessy Spirit Award will be given to the individual, group or water station that best exemplifies the marathon spirit. The award is named after the acclaimed columnist for the Long Beach Press Telegram who continues to enthusiastically support the Marathon.
- Winners of the 2007 Tom Hennessy Spirit Awards were:
