Have you ever wanted to run a marathon? Do you want to accomplish a goal that only 1% of the population has completed? Do you want to check running a half marathon off your ‘bucket list’, but don’t know where to start training? Join the ICR Beach Runners Marathon and Half Marathon Training Program. The program is ideal for anyone who has a desire to challenge themselves, make new friends, increase body strength and stamina, or simply wants to live a healthier lifestyle. The program is designed to prepare anyone to finish a marathon or half marathon. Beach Runners welcomes everyone, from beginning runners to the elite. Walkers are also welcome in the program.
 
While you will not become a marathoner overnight, with the ICR Beach Runners coaches advice, knowledge and experience, you will notice weekly improvements. To kick-off the program, join the Beach Runners at Buenos’s Pizza in Long Beach on either June 1st or 3rd at 6:30 pm. With two weekly workouts as a group, Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am,  multiple coaches will work specifically with different ability levels and you’ll be more than prepared come race day. There will be struggles and growth throughout the program but the reward of crossing the finish line will be a once in a lifetime experience.
